Shane's Tar-Pit tri tip is a piece of sirloin that has been marinaded in a private family recipe that's said to have a smokey, bacon like flavor.
Baking Instructions: Preheat oven to 375°. Place on foil lined cookie sheet, place in middle rack of oven, and cook for 45 minutes average to achieve medium rare.
BBQ Instructions: Medium heat for 40 minutes average to achieve medium rare. Flip every 10 minutes. For best results do not puncture or cut before cooking.
